Henry Clay envisaged an America full of potential and opportunities for its people; he was then determined to see this manifestation come true since there was also inherent fear of the influence of the domineering commercial power that was evident before American policy was instigated. One of the three issues the author supposed was outstanding includes the implication of the American system from 1824 forthwith; which created a blossoming atmosphere for espousing American industry and commerce. Secondly, rebuking any trade between America and other states that are not fair, free or reciprocal (free trade). The trade would be termed fair if both entities had espoused trade liberties and dropped any restrictions or exclusions to trade, in his assertion the author argues that the British colonial rule was being introduced in the guise of free trade. Lastly, the 1824 introduction tariff policy that would help foster and protect the American commerce and industry.
Firstly, from the excerpt, we can decipher that American's earliest days were typified by a sectional independence and a restricted role for the federal government. Equally, the Congress was riddled with the important issue of the role of national government in promoting economic development. Secondly, the American government lacked a comprehensive plan to unify and strengthen the nation; the American industry was not protected from external inhibitions that could harm upcoming and flourish business ventures hence the advancement of the American System by Henry Clay.
The state of the American system was at the risk of being infringement through an elaborate laissez-faire system of ‘free trade' devised by the British; albeit, the American government enacted a program that espoused sectional economic sovereignty, encompassing protectionist policies, particularly for business. Free trade was viewed by Clay as British influence and needed to be avoided at all costs.
I had never achieved top score when I was a freshman, and I was ashamed of that, as I had thought there was something wrong with me and the way I was putting my mind on the paper. However, I realized I wasn`t just doing the other things right, like: alphabetic order of the bibliography, quotations, even the way I was explaining some events in my papers. I wanted to know the right way and placed an order at one of the top writing services in the searching engine. To my pleasant surprise, I picked the right one at the first try. However, I did hear many creepy stories about faked papers, plagiarized assignments, and even entirely copy-pasted! Together with a friend of mine, who had that terrible experience before, we decided to start blogging about writing tips we have learnt and reviewing various companies (checking them for plagiarism, honesty, etc). We hope you will enjoy your time with us. Anyhow, let us know what you think by sending feedback via e-mail. You opinion matters to us!
